I have sat here this week watching as people panic over this COVID-19 virus and can only wonder what we have come to that we have left the store shelves empty of necessary items like toilet paper, cleaning products, and food. Yes, I realize that there is a possibility of being quarantined for 14 days and that we need to be prepared for that possibility but it is not necessary to go overboard like so many have done. I also realize that we need to be diligent in washing our hands and using hand sanitizer when washing is not available to help curb the spread of this virus. This still doesn’t warrant cleaning off the shelves and leaving many without that valuable resource or option. For those that went on a buying spree to take advantage and make a profit by selling these items at a higher price, shame on you! You are part of the problem not the solution!
We do sell hand sanitizer here at JB Butterfly Designs. We have for at least a year now. We do have some available and as of right now the ability to order more base if need be. We will do our best to keep our original pricing but as I did a check on the availability of the base we use I did notice that they have raised there prices to help combat the craziness so that they are still able to meet their customer’s needs without running out. If and when we have to order more base, we may have to raise our prices some to compensate for the cost of material going up, but rest assured we will not raise more than what is absolutely necessary. We want to continue to help you and your families stay healthy in this time of need.
We are also taking extra precautions with every package that we send to our customers. While no one in our households are sick or showing any symptoms, we believe in being proactive and safe. Every order is made after a healthy hand-washing and every package is packed after yet another hand-washing and gets a heavy dose of Lysol spray before being taped up and sent. We have no control after it leaves our hands and we recommend taking precautions when receiving any package.
We will continue to pray for everyone and for this situation to pass quickly with no more fatalities.
